I spent a lot of our lovely four day weekend obsessing over the homes in Freund von Freunden, Berlin apartments are gorgeous! And these homes are especially lovely; full of character and idiosyncrasies that make a home unique to its’ occupants. It’s all in the details and my favourite things about homes are the funny little things that tell a story; the fridge magnets, the books, the holiday snaps, the cluttered kitchen table, the teeny sunny garden spot where the occupant reads a paper and eats a croissant, the crowded mantelpiece and my favourite; the kitchen, it’s a bit of a cliché but kitchens really are the true heart of a home.

There is so much personality in these homes; I love the crammed window sills too. Hope you had a nice Holiday.
