I’ve been watching the documentary about Lily Allen’s new venture, Lucy in Disguise and I have enjoyed seeing behind the scenes of this burgeoning business, I’m excited to see this weeks episode where they will focus on the shop.  I love the design of Lucy in Disguise in Covent Garden, I like how despite it being a shop for vintage clothes, it isn’t fusty; it’s a sleek contemporary white space and there are well selected pieces of vintage furniture and lighting (GORGEOUS Scolari lights).  It would have been easy to overdo this space, to try and make it too funky, but it’s actually an exercise in restraint, glamourous but grown up, quirky but elegant.  Jackdaw Studio have done a beautiful job.  Don’t you just LOVE the Emerald Faerie chandelier in the second photo below?!
