It’s already been nearly a year since my amazing trip to Japan. I’ve been reminiscing about the exquisite hotel we stayed at in Kyoto. The incredible foyer/reception literally took my breath away on arrival, a perfect, dramatic yet refined example of the Japanese aesthetic.
By day the effect is calm and modern, the fretwork glows subtly
By night it’s bold, graphic and sexy. I highly recommend staying in the Hyatt Kyoto if you’re ever in the area, the hotel is beautiful, consistent and well located, I’d go back in a heartbeat.
