My first flat was teeny tiny, ‘bijou’ an estate agent might say. A bedroom, bathroom and living room with kitchen, so I remember all too well what it’s like to live in very close quarters with your kitchen. This is a fairly standard way of life, especially in London, our lifestyles mean our living quarters are integrated closely with our kitchens, but sometimes it would be nice to shut it all away. I wished that too! I think the contrast of colour works well, but red wouldn’t have been my choice either.
