Let’s face it, interior design isn’t very rock and roll. In fact Ryan Korban is about as rock n’ roll as it gets. He’s also King of the vignette and artfully placed object. I loved seeing his home in Domino and on the Selby.
It really is the details of a home that fascinate visitors and give a home a personal narrative and context and so meaningful vignettes are a definite addition to the quintessential collection. I can’t bear anything too contrived so by meaningful I mean a collection of objects that have meaning for the individual and tell a part of the occupants story.
